From people dressing up and walking around like some of their favorite pop culture characters to kids going door to door asking for candy with horror-themed streets, this festival is a spooky treat. Impie

Impie follows Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a disgraced reporter who tries to resurrect his career after stumbling upon a series of divine miracles. This leads to a whole lot of misfortune and so the story begins. Impie has really great and fun sensations and will entertain you immensely.

Fear Street Trilogy

Netflix has had one of the biggest horror surprises this year. With the Fear Street Trilogy, Netflix delivered a new movie every week. Each film focused on the city of Shadyside and the horror misadventures taking place in different time periods, putting all the stories together pretty well.

A horror movie about a hospice nurse who believes she must have one of her patients’ souls is honestly perfect for Halloween. Holy maud features some really strong performance and great thrills and you should definitely check it out.

Army of the dead

Zack Snyder got back in shape and returned to his roots with Army of the dead. Following a zombie apocalypse in Las Vegas, a group of thieves are sent to the city to steal money buried in a casino. It’s a great horror action adventure that will definitely leave you satisfied. Smart

James Wan’s first film since 2018, Smart was a trip. Starring a woman who has visions of murdered people only to realize they are happening in real life, Smart is one of the strangest, most original horror films that I have seen in a long time. It’s my favorite horror movie of this year and please do yourself a favor and watch it.
