Could a zombie apocalypse happen?

There is no evidence that a zombie apocalypse could be on the horizon, but anything can happen.

Some illnesses mirror the traits of zombies, like rabies and leprosy, which could mean we might end up having a “zombie” variant on our hands.

Scientists have researched if there is a virus that could cause an apocalypse, but none has made a breakthrough.

With the rapid spread of the coronavirus, it raises eyebrows at the speed at which a “zombie” virus would move to create an apocalypse.

If theoretically a zombie apocalypse were to occur, containment would depend on how the outbreak started.

As a rule, in movies and TV shows zombies bite people, turning them into one as well.

This spread would be much easier to contain than a mutant virus.

How to survive a zombie apocalypse

Movies and TV shows have taught us the dos and don’ts when it comes to a zombie apocalypse.

The first and most obvious point is to stay away from any areas teeming with zombies.

If this is unavoidable, find a safe place to hide.

Make sure supplies such as food and water are readily available.

If you need to move to a new location, travel with a party so you have a better chance of defeating the zombies if they come your way.

Where in the world is the safest place

Typically, bunkers are the best places to hide during a zombie apocalypse.

If you want to be able to see the light of day again, hop aboard a boat and set off to a remote island to experience your day.

You just have to hope that the zombies won’t follow you there.

Prisons are always a good choice.

Lots of space and places to hide if the zombies ever catch up with you.

Alcatraz is the perfect combination of island and prison.

Going up somewhere high might seem like a good option, but if you’re having trouble there may be no way to get down.
